Hello,
I hope that you will enjoy the images I've created. The process I use to create these pieces involves photography, scanning, computer-photoretouching, drawing, and darkroom dodging and burning. Each image is a 50-80 megabytes jpeg image with a resolution of 2032 dots per inch. They are output on 8x10 chromes where they are then printed like standard photography. Since these images take up so much memory, and your screen has only 72 dots per inch, you are seeing only a very low resolution copy of each piece. The colors are not true and in some instances artifacts were created while scrunching the images down to fit on your screen. I hope that what you see will give you an idea of the kind of artwork I am doing.
I am very interested in hearing from other artists who are doing similar work. If you have any questions, comments, or want a print of an image ($150 to $200, depending on the image), send a note to graphics4you@yahoo.com
